2nd up here today. He should find this assignment easier than his last start. He is dropping down in class out of a metro level race back to the provincials. The 1st up run was impressive given he ran the 3rd fastest L200 of the meeting. He gets back here on his favourite track where he has a super 5:3-1-0 record.

R7/4- PRESCIENT (EW/VALUE OF DAY)

Has had 2 runs this prep and finished 2nd in both of them. In both runs he led the field up and was only caught late near the line. He looks like he didn’t have any trials leading into the prep, so 3rd up no, he should have the fitness to see the race out. And he again maps to be in a good forward position from barrier 2.

R8/3- SEA WITNESS

Was only 2L off the winner last start when up in grade in a stronger race at Morphettville. He generally pushes forwards and makes his own luck out in front and gets the handle to do that here today from barrier 4. He has been to this track once previously and was a winner over the track/distance. Gets favours here today.
