R4/17- MR MOJO RISING

A NZ runner who wasnt too far away from the winners when he was making his Australian debut 2 weeks ago at Flemington. He led them up but was reeled in late. He again maps to be forward in the running up on the speed and expect he will see this trip out stronger today given he will be fitter and will carry a light weight after the 3kg claiming apprentice.

R7/12- HOME RULE (BEST OF DAY)

The wetter the better it will be for HOME RULE, he should be well suited to this track and particularly by this later stage of the day when it will be likely that there will be a fair bit of cut out of this ground. Expect he will race up on the speed in a race that doesnt look to have much tempo and HOME RULE should land in a strong position.

R9/3- NOT USUAL GLORIOUS (EW/VALUE OF DAY)

Hopefully the track is really cut up by the last race of the day for NOT USUAL GLORIOUS who does his best work on really wet tracks. Last start he was 2nd in The Warnambool Cup and a winner prior to that, all strong form. While he does come back down in trip to the 1800m, he still looks really well set on a wet track, with a favourable race map and a strong senior jockey booking.
