R6/7- VINNIE’S SPIRIT

VINNIE’S SPIRIT has placed in her last 2 starts in races that on paper were slightly up in grade and this today appears slightly easier. He gets a small field here today and looks likely to control the race from the front without too much pressure. Based on his recent efforts and the race map, if he gets his own way out in front he looks tough to defeat.

R7/6- KATERING (EW/VALUE OF DAY)

KATERIGN comes out of well rated race when resuming and hit the line nicely that day. The slight rise in trip today will really suit here and the race map shapes well to give her an opportunity to run on. If she can get a run and hit the line like she did 1st up, she will give this a shake at an EW price.

R8/10- BIG WATCH (BEST OF DAY)

BIG WATCH was well supported when resuming last start at Sandown when running into 2nd. He gets a good set up here now rising in trip and fitter for the run. Blake Shinn takes the ride so expecting to see BIG WATCH settle in a good position from barrier 4 and the form lines around him out of last prep suggest he will run well in a race this grade.
