GLENTANEOUS was good when running 2nd last start at Cranbourne in a stronger race than what he competes in today. He does have to carry a big weight which is a small query, but his recent form stands out as the class of the field. He is short enough in the market now though, but in this small field, if he handles the big weight he will be tough to beat.

R6/5- ZOUPURRING

ZOUPURRING gets a good race map here and should have the ability to be able to settle up on the speed which has been the ideal position in running to be here at Sandown in recent weeks. He ran 2nd last start and was only caught late in the run. If the track is favouring leaders today, he has a big advantage. He finds an easier race than his last run and has race map advantages.

R7/7- HE’S HANDSOME (BEST OF DAY)

HE’S HANDSOME has a tricky race map to deal with from a wide barrier, but he has been going really well recently running in the top 3 in all of his last 5 starts including 2 wins. In his most recent run at Cranbourne, he was 3rd behind a smart runner in JIMMYSSTAR but should have finished a lot closer given HE’S HANDSOME had no luck between the 500m & 250m and struggled to find runs. If it’s possible to make up ground today and he finds clear running in the straight, he will go close.
