• Drops slightly in grade here today and maps to get a good run going forwards from barrier 3. He broke his maiden here at the track earlier this prep and should have no issues with the bigger weight if he gets a soft enough run.

R6/2- HEADPHONES (BEST OF DAY)

• HEADPHONES is having a consistent prep against stronger competition in metro level races. She might need luck early from the wider barrier. But her recent form lines have been stronger than what she meets here today and she should go very close with the right run.

R8/5- CHOSEN MISS (EW/VALUE OF DAY)

• She is 2nd up here today on her home track which suits. The rise in trip to the 1200m is ideal and jumping from barrier 3, she should be able to settle in a good spot and get every chance late. Represents a good EW play for a well suited runner.
