R2/6- LUCILLE ROSE

LUCILLE ROSE has finished 3rd in both her career starts, both at this track which is also her home track. She comes out of a maiden race here last start that was very sharp, she should find this easier and should get a very good run up on the speed from a good barrier.

R3/3- HOLMES (EW/VALUE OF DAY)

Comes back to provincial level after finding them a bit too sharp in both of his previous runs at metro level. His 1st up run this prep he was placed here at the track. He should find this much easier and maps for a soft run. He has done a few things wrong in his last start but if he can settle early, he should be finishing this off strongest.

R7/3- FALAISE (BEST OF DAY)

Was an impressive winner here recently and looks a type that should be able to rise up through his grades. It was a strong level maiden that the ran in a good time and he showed super fight to win. They have backed him hard in early markets, but expect he may drift back out slightly and if you can get close to $2 he looks a bet at that price.
