SUPER ALANA ran home strongly here last start over the exact same trip and on a heavy track as well. She did a lot wrong in the early stages of that last run which cant have helped her. Expecting that if she can settle better here today, she should be strong late and hard to hold out. One of the other keys for this race is the fact she defeated key rival ROULETTE QUEEN last start who may again need luck from the back of the field.

R5/4- FIGHT FOR FREEDOM (EW/VALUE OF DAY)

FIGHT FOR FREEDOM raced here 10 days ago in very similar conditions and ran into a lot of bad luck rounding the turn before he finished off strongly for 4th. That was the only time he missed the placings here over the same track/trip. He has won 2 of 5 here on this track and goes well on a heavy track, happy to forgive the last run and expect and improved run here today.

R7/5- PIVOTAL FORCE (BEST OF DAY)

PIVOTAL FORCE does his best work here on his home track having won 4 of his 8 starts here, but more impressively he has a 4:3-0-1 record over this same track/trip. He can handle a heavy track and this is a drop in grade from his last start, expecting he will find the middle of the track in the straight and should prove hard to hold out.
