R4/11- YALTARA (EW/VALUE OF DAY)

• Won on debut for her new stable and steps up in grade here now today. She led them up when winning and won by an impressive 7L on a very heavy track. Drawn low here and if she can lead again should be in the race a long way.

R7/5- HANDSHAKE (BEST OF DAY)

• He is in super form having placed in his last 4 runs including 1 win. He goes well on the heavy track and gets in very well at the weights so he looks very well placed. He has had some bad luck in his past couple runs but from the wider barrier today, I’m expecting he can be kept safe about midfield it’s cover and should get every chance. Mapping others to put speed into the race which should set him up nicely.

R8/6- GRAND ROCK

• The writing looks to be on the wall for him here today given he has run 2nd in both of his last 2 runs and the last was up in grade. This race appears easier for him down in class and he has both a good record on a heavy track (7:2-2-2) and a good record over the trip (3:2-0-0). Gets every chance to improve today.
